Principal's Message

Dear Montrose Community: 

It is with great enthusiasm that I begin my 5th year as principal of Montrose Elementary. It feels like just yesterday that I was getting to know this amazing community and that inspiring spirit continues today!  I am so appreciative of all of the things that we’ve accomplished and am looking forward to many more opportunities…together! 

I am continuously impressed with our team’s commitment to our families, and the growth of our students both academically and socially. As we move into this school year, we will continue to focus on: 

• Designing instruction to meet the needs of our students, ensuring that they feel engaged, supported and challenged; 
• Strengthening community partnerships and exploring new ways to engage our families and local community members; 
• Fostering well-being, safety and resiliency within our students. 

Your partnership is crucial to our success. I encourage all Montrose families to stay connected by joining our Parent Teacher Organization; volunteering for school events; fostering partnerships with your child’s teachers. 

Thank you for your continued trust and support. I am honored to serve this great community as Montrose principal and am looking forward to another year of learning with curiosity, demonstrating kindness and embracing equity.
